Arrange your visit.

Prices & fees
Clear pricing. Agreed in advance.
$2 · Traditional notarial act
New York law sets a $2 fee for the standard oath, affirmation, acknowledgment or proof of execution described in Executive Law §136, with the applicable per-person rules. This is not an hourly notarization charge.
My posted general service rate applies only to separately agreed, lawful non-notarial services. It does not replace or increase the statutory fee for a notarial act.
Any additional services and charges are discussed before an appointment. A quote is not authorization to exceed a statutory limit.
Travel +
Mobile visits may involve round-trip travel. The posted travel range is $25–$75 or more, depending on distance, time of day and urgency. The actual arrangement and any lawful non-notarial travel charge must be agreed beforehand. Meeting at an agreed location without a mobile visit avoids a travel charge.
Printing & administrative assistance +
Printing and other non-legal administrative work may be quoted according to the number of pages and the work requested. This service does not include selecting legal forms, preparing legal instruments or giving legal advice.
Expedited or after-hours requests +
Contact me about availability for urgent requests or appointments outside standard service hours. Any lawful, separate non-notarial service charge is agreed in advance; urgency does not increase the statutory notarial fee.
Waiting time +
If a visit may require extended waiting, we will discuss the arrangement and any lawful, separate non-notarial charge before services are provided.
New York’s statutory limits control. No tip is expected or required; notarial service is never conditional on a gratuity.
Notarial acts must follow New York law. Please do not ask me to bypass required procedures. Some documents are complex and should be prepared by an attorney or with an attorney’s assistance.
A notary who is not an attorney cannot provide legal advice or prepare legal instruments. Ask the document’s receiving organization or your attorney about any required form, witnesses or notarial wording.
These appointments are arranged as traditional in-person services. This page does not advertise remote online notarization.
